Right in time for the start of summer, a pint of amber ale is guaranteed to go down well with BBQ parties and other gatherings. Let me know if you'd like to grab a bottle (or five)!


FOOD PAIRING
Red meat, BBQ seafood, noodles with heavy sauces and coffee spare ribs.
INGREDIENTS
Thomas Coopers liquid malt extract amber (1.5kg), Safale US-05 dry ale yeast, 21g of Perle bittering hops, 0.5 ounces of Cascade & 30g of Liberty finishing hops.


BREWING PROCESS
A 1hr 10 min hour boil with Perle hops, followed by a 25 min boil at the end with Liberty hops and finishing with a 10 min boil at the end with Cascade hops.
BEER GEEK STUFF
Initial gravity 1070 with sugar ready 22%. Final gravity 1010. Alcohol percentage 7.88%.
